Residential Plumbing Service in Seattle, WA
HYDRO-JETTING SERVICE IN SEATTLE
Hydro jetting is an advanced method used by our highly trained technicians to clean clogged or slow sewage lines. A continuous blast of water at high pressure from a rotating nozzle is sent into the sewer lines to remove blockages and build up.
A video inspection should be performed first to determine the cause and location of the problem and the integrity of the sewer line. Once the pipe jetting portion of the project is complete, a secondary camera inspection is performed.
Hydro jetting is a safe, eco-friendly way to clean your pipes. Don’t wait until you experience a blockage with your plumbing system before you schedule drain cleaning services. Adding The Pipe Doctor’s Hydro-jetting service to your annual home maintenance list will ensure your side sewer is running smoothly and prevent expensive repairs.
Our experienced technicians can come to your home regularly to perform the cleaning and ensure your pipes aren’t clogged or being invaded by tree roots. Call The Pipe Doctor if your system has experienced:
- Invasive tree roots
- Sewage odor seeps from drains
- Slow-draining tub or sink
- Toilet gurgles when sink is used
- Plumbing system is old
Our hydro jetting service is both reliable and affordable!

Digital Video Inspection and Location Service
A sewer inspection camera is one of the best tools for identifying serious sewer and drain blockages. A video camera probe is inserted into the sewer line allowing our technicians to see the integrity of the sewer line. Our technicians can easily evaluate the images to determine the integrity of the sewer line and offer recommendations based upon the findings.
If you have had problems with your sewer line or septic line, buying a house, or selling a property, it is a good idea to have a
sewer inspection performed. Unseen problems can often lurk in sewer lines such as collapsed pipes, offset joints, leaking
joints, or tree root intrusions. A Sewer inspection is the best way to determine the condition of your sewer lines and
can be invaluable whether you are repairing the problem or in negotiations to buy or sell a home. Inspection costs will depend on the sewer access and typically last around an hour.
Our professionals have the state-of-the-art equipment required to perform a thorough sewer inspection, as well as the experience and knowledge to successfully identify and locate any problems.

Trenchless - CIPP
With Cured-in-Place Piping (CIPP), you no longer have to dig up the whole garden because of the root invasion. CIPP is a relatively simple process. First, the damaged pipe is cleaned and inspected to determine the integrity of the sewer line. Then, a measurement of the pipe is taken so the pipe-liner material can be cut to length. The 100% epoxy resin is then mixed and poured into the liner, perfectly fitting the length and width of the pipe. The pipe-liner is loaded into the launching unit, which is then inserted into the pipe through an inversion process that utilizes air pressure. Due to the use of air pressure, the pipe-liner turns inside out, allowing the resin to bond with the host pipe. The resin cures within hours, allowing your pipe to come back into service usually within the day of install, depending on the length.
Sewer Trench Repair
Sewer systems are typically not thought of until a problem arises. If your sewer is backing up, your drains are moving slowly, or you’re noticing pooling or strange smells a technician can help you determine whether your sewer needs repair. Excavations can address a wide range of sewer issues fully, resulting in high-quality repairs that will last for decades to come.
Trench excavations involve removing the dirt and objects located above and around your sewer so that they can be repaired or replaced. While trenchless options such as pipe relining can fix a wide array of problems, certain in-depth repairs, replacement, or installations may be better accomplished with excavations. For instance, if a system is failing beyond repair and cannot be lined due to the drastic amount of damage, an excavation is a great option for repair or replacing a sewer system. Before beginning any type of repair or replacement work, we first take an in-depth look at your sewer to diagnose any issues present as well as their condition. To accomplish this, we must first perform a sewer inspection with our high-definition camera. As it is fed through the line, our expert technicians capture high-quality videos of the inside of your sewer. We closely review the footage and use our locating equipment to pinpoint the exact location of any blockages, cracks, or other damage in your system.
If there are complete breakages or the majority of the sewer system is deemed failing, we will evaluate whether we need to perform an excavation.
Drain line repair and replacement service
Drainage - Basement Water Proofing
Water intrusion and leaks in basements occur for several reasons. Most leaks are due to water entering through the house or basement walls. In some cases, it is due to a rising water table or other topographic features such as natural springs pushing water through the foundation. With older houses were hollow spaces and deteriorating cement allow water in or newer houses with poured concrete walls that leak, we have engineered solutions tailored for each case. We specialize in repairing the problem and guarantee our work with tried and proven solutions. Our goal is to address each water intrusion individually and correct it with an approach that encompasses all factors causing the leak. We determine the cause of the leak, how to go about dealing with each unique situation so it never occurs again or is satisfactorily addressed. We keep our clients informed of the progress of each project on a daily basis and what to expect as the job moves on.
Gutter Drainage
Gutter downspouts are one of the major causes for water intrusion into homes. Water also tends to flow into to the house near the corners because of the downspouts. Many houses and buildings we see where the downspouts are not tied to under ground drainage show signs of erosion such as cracking in the foundation. The water forms conduits and pathways leading directly to the wall, and eventually finds its way into the hollow blocks or through cracks. Many times the water erodes the wall itself causing entry points where it flows into the house eventually, causing extensive damage to the inside and outside of your home.
All of your downspout connections are properly sloped underground for positive drainage. We also are very careful to return the area we are working into its original state. We meticulously cut the lawn and replace it so the lawn will look untouched after it grows again and is mowed a few times. In addition another feature that we add to drainage lines that most other companies neglect is effective maintenance points for the drainage. We add clean-outs to all our drainage lines to allow for periodic flushing of the pipes. We offer an access point near the connection where a hose can be inserted and proper maintenance can easily be achieved by homeowners with simply letting the water push any debris out the other end.
water line repair and replacement service
Water lines are usually made of copper, PVC, galvanized steel, or the dubious “blue poly.” In the ground, copper oxidizes and galvanized steel rusts terribly, releasing rust particles into your drinking water and causing serious leaking issues.
PVC tends to crack with temperature changes, and blue polybutylene is a type of plastic water pipe designed to be a cheap alternative to copper plumbing but actually turned out to cause disastrous leaks and lawsuits.
We replace these faulty materials with a product called polyethylene pipe, this flexible material safely expands and contracts with temperature changes, is impervious to chlorine and other minerals, is rust-proof, and is an all-around hardy product.
We safely avoid your buried utilities and flush your new water line to ensure that no dirt, clay, or any other small particles make their way into your home’s water system. Your new water main line will be inspected by the city before back filling the trench.
